However, with two sons in our family of four, it felt tight, especially in the living area when the sofa bed was in use.

This room offered a more spacious layout with a king bed and enhanced furnishings. I appreciate the larger living area, which felt more luxurious than the standard suites. It would be perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or solo travelers seeking a bit of pampering.

Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite

For a family like mine, I ultimately suggest the Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite with one king and one queen master bed. I always go for this suite. Also, the rooms give plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together without stepping on each other’s toes.

Apart from having a great stay at Vacation Village, here is more of what I must tell you. Besides being super spacious and full kitchens, each room also has all the essentials like:

• A balcony (some overlook the pool, others the conservation area, so you get a nice view either way). Bonus: each balcony comes with some nice garden furniture to relax on.
• They also provide a safe DVD player and ironing board; best of all, almost every unit has a washer and dryer (so handy for families).

Just a heads-up: only Buildings 1 and 2 don’t have in-unit laundry, but there are facilities in the building. They even throw in sample laundry detergent, dish soap, and extra toiletries if you need them, and the separate vanity area makes it easy to get ready without fighting for sink space.

The only minor drawback is that there aren’t extra cots or beds, but each unit type – A, B, C, and D – has perks.

• Game Room: The game room quickly became a favorite spot for us. In the evenings, my sons and I would head over for a few rounds of air hockey and some friendly competition with other guests. We even had a mini-tournament that brought back so many nostalgic memories.

• Morimoto Asia: one of the big-league spots around here, and with its sushi, dim sum, and massive menu of Asian flavors, it’s a total crowd-pleaser. It’s vibrant, has flair, and is one of Disney Springs’ best restaurants for a reason.
• The Boathouse: This is where I go for the ultimate date night. Known as Orlando’s romantic restaurant, The Boathouse offers fresh seafood, killer views, and a vibe that’s all about unwinding.

• Enzo’s Hideaway: Part of Disney Springs’ underground dining scene, Enzo’s Hideaway has a super fun Italian speakeasy vibe. Great for a quiet evening out with an extensive wine list.
