Unveiled By April
In the bustling neighborhood of Mills 50, Team Market Group (TMG) is leaving its mark. Led by brothers Keith, Romi, and Daniel Mawardi, TMG has already made waves with Plantees, a popular vegan burger joint that debuted two years ago. Now, their latest venture is on the horizon.
Across the street from Plantees, construction is underway for Eastwood, a live-fire concept set to ignite the culinary scene by year’s end. But before Eastwood’s flames flicker to life, TMG has another treat in store: Alfie’s HiFi Lounge.
Set to unveil this April at 1300 N. Mills Ave, Alfie’s pays homage to the Mawardi brothers’ father, Alfie Mawardi. Inspired by vinyl listening bars from Tokyo to Miami, Alfie’s promises a unique auditory and visual experience.
Spearheaded by Nuriel Mawardi, the lounge aims to be a haven for music enthusiasts and cocktail connoisseurs alike. With TMG’s track record of success, Alfie’s is poised to be another jewel in Mills 50’s crown.
About The HiFi Lounge
Alfie’s HiFi Lounge promises a multifaceted experience for patrons, boasting three distinct areas to unwind and revel in the ambiance. The layout includes a vibrant bar area, perfect for mingling and savoring handcrafted cocktails.
Meanwhile, a middle room offers table service and a prime vantage point of the DJ booth, ensuring every beat hits directly. For those seeking a more intimate setting, the lounge features banquette seating and a spacious dance floor, inviting guests to groove the night away.
Stepping outside, visitors will discover a sprawling outdoor area and back patio designed as a tranquil Japanese garden, providing a serene escape from the urban hustle.
Inspired by the ’70s, Alfie’s design elements pay homage to Alfie Mawardi’s hippie roots and nights at Studio 54, infusing the space with retro charm.
The music format at Alfie’s promises diversity, embracing various genres beyond the classics of Jimi Hendrix and Donna Summer. Complementing the tunes, cocktails will feature Disco Era favorites like Midori Sours and Harvey Wallbangers.
While the food menu is still in the works, tantalizing offerings such as “disco fries” may make an appearance. Alfie’s will initially welcome guests Thursday through Saturday, with the potential for Sunday openings in the future.
